1974

THE ORIGINS OF SUCCESSFUL CAREER

Ben Foster returned from four years of service in the United States Coast Guard. He began his career as a journeyman automotive mechanic while also working in his father’s frame and axle shop in South Seattle.

FOSTER’S WHEEL SERVICE

Started Foster’s Wheel Service, specializing in servicing and restoring wire wheels and repairing automotive alloy wheels. Ran the business single-handedly until 1995.

FROM WHEELS TO PIPES

After a family vacation, Ben decided to pursue his passion for plumbing. He closed his wheel shop and began working as an apprentice plumber the same day.

PLUMBER'S LICENSE

Obtained his Journeyman Plumber’s License after completing the necessary hours and training.

FROM SOLO PLUMBER TO LICENSED BUSINESS

Created and licensed Ben’s Plumbing, initially operating as a one-plumber business.

EXPANDING TO MEET GROWING DEMAND

With growing customer demand, we expanded to include additional licensed plumbers to address residential and commercial needs efficiently and professionally.

Founded in 2007 by Louise Hansen, Weeze’s Plumbing quickly became a trusted name in Seattle for its expertise in trenchless sewer solutions and commitment to building lasting customer relationships. Louise’s values—honesty, quality, and customer care—aligned perfectly with Ben’s Plumbing’s mission to provide reliable, community-focused service.
